First, I want to tell you how GRATEFUL and THANKFUL I am for your support! Your many likes, comments and shares on my very first post meant the world to me and I couldn’t feel more blessed to have such great friends, family and support group! You simply are the best and inspire me to do more!
As most of you know I’m from Montreal, Canada and in the next articles I will be sharing with you my looks, inspirations and interests from my lovely wintery city. Montreal has a special place in my heart and I hope to give you a glimpse of all it has to offer! There is always something new happening… Amazing new restaurants (I am a foodie at heart by the way!) and clubs opening every week, new art and museum exhibitions, new science and interesting fairs, a ton of cultural events and fundraisers to attend and much more… So if you are a social butterfly like me, you will never get bored in Montreal!
Here is an outfit I wore while I was at the Montreal Science Center to watch a movie with a friend (I know, what a nerd…). As it gets very cold in Montreal and that day particularly was icy cold, I like to wear different layers to keep me warm. The plaid print oversized scarf is my one of my favorite items this winter, as you can wear it in many different ways. Here I decided to cinch it with a belt to create an hourglass shape. What girl doesn’t like that? Right?
I accessorized it with other Rudsak items that I feel compliment the scarf and create an earthy cabin girl look (trying to channel the Canadian roots)! The mix of fabrics with the wool floppy hat and raw leather bag with leather fringes as well as the brushed suede booties add a touch of modernity to the whole look. Because, like they say: “You can take the girl out of the city but you can’t take the city out of the girl” ;)
Have a great hump day !
