Spring is here! Well technically it is, even though Montreal got covered in snow once again this weekend! For my best friend Stephanie, it’s great news because she can still go skiing! As for me, I am more than ready to see it all melt :) I am fortunate to have amazing friends and today I am dedicating this post to my 3 best friends! Coming back to Montreal has made me realized how much I had missed them and how grateful I am to have them in my life! I want to introduce you to my girls because you will see their names often in my posts!
I have know Stephanie ever since I was 13 years old, so that’s quite a while ;) She’s lived the puberty years with me (shopping for my first bra, wearing braces, sporting the thicker than thick eyebrows, dealing with boys stories, seen all my fashion disasters and so much more…). She’s seen me grow from a teenager, to a confused young 20 year old, to the woman I am today (still confused sometimes ;) She has always been there for me, even when she lived in Paris for 4 years. She’s been with me through thick and thin! She’s seen me cry my heart out and is the first one to listen to and believe in my craziest dreams! She is my sweet angel!
Pauline and Nola are my sisters from another mother! Together we form the “Trio de la mort”, a name that was given to us by our friends back in university because we were always together. I have met them in my first year at University of Montreal. It was friendship at first sight! We are similar in so many ways and to our deepest cores. We understand one another just by looking at each other. I have had the best adventures of my life with these wonderful crazy women! They are always up for out of the ordinary activities! Whatever you think of, we have done! From skydiving, to recording a music CD, to organizing a fashion show, to having a professional fashion photo shoot, to body painting, to trying all the dance, cooking and art classes out there and to traveling and discovering the world! As I am writing this, they are preparing a surprise activity for me, in celebration of my birthday (for which I was in NYC)! I don’t know what to expect! All I know is that I have to be ultra fashionably dressed, be ready at 7h30 sharp and film a small video saying what I think is going to happen! Isn’t that exciting? They are insane, just like me, and that’s what I love the most about them! What do you think is going to happen? I have no clue! I will keep you posted on my social media accounts!
The photos that are posted in this article were taken by my newest and dear friend Shoval. I met her in my first class at Parsons. We instantly clicked, simply because we share the same interests and passions! She was my partner in crime while in New York and my experience there wouldn’t have been as exciting without her! The photos were taken in Times Square on our last date in the city. We had a blast taking pictures and videos in the streets! I find they represent well how joyful I am and lucky to have the life I have! We have one life to live and I am making sure to surround myself with the best people!
Best friends are precious! Make sure to treat them like the diamonds they are! Keep them close to your heart! Always be there for them, even in the middle of the night for an emergency call or just to talk. And support them through their ups and downs. I am privileged to have such extraordinary women in my life! And for that, I am beyond BLESSED!
