This week I had my moments of work related stress! They affected my mood in a negative way and allowed my mind to dwell on other aspects of my life… I started questioning everything about everything… Then you sit down and talk to your friend who is battling cancer and how he and his wife and kids are dealing with the doctor announcing he only has a few more years to live… You suddenly realize that your daily concerns are minor and not even worth worrying about! I am lucky to be young, healthy, full of life like an Energizer bunny and happy! Life is way too short to be troubled by work or any kind of trivial drama! We have one life to live and we have to make sure that every second we have is the best and happiest it can be!
You know how much I love mixing styles and creating my own version of a specific trend! The outfit I am posting today is all about that! Floral and lace that you find in the crop top I am wearing are omnipresent this season and are the epitome of femininity! But I wanted to switch it up and bring some masculinity to the look! The black paneled shorts compliment the crop top with their simplicity and sleekness. They recall the cut of men suit pants as well as the grey vest evokes a tuxedo. How do you like the rhinestone brooch I used to attach the vest? It was my version of the bow tie :) Same feeling with the fedora! I find it to be a cool addition to the ensemble, bringing some swag! And, its burgundy color was interesting because it related to the flowers on the crop top and the purse. I thought the crossbody bag also brought casualness to the attire. As for the lace up shoes, I believe they were the perfect choice to express a sexy edge :) In the end, even if I’m fond of the masculine fashion, I can’t let go of my boundless female sense, thus the red-wine lipstick ;)
Live... Love... Laugh...
