Last weekend, the Oh sooo cool Osheaga Music and Arts festival was happening in Montreal! It’s an immense celebration dedicated to music and visual arts and one of the most epic festivals in the city! It’s our own Coachella! Unfortunately, I couldn’t attend it this year since I was in Toronto celebrating my friend’s Bachelorette! By the way, my TO bound was super! Got to witness the eccentric and colourful Caribbean Festival (feathers and G-strings everywhere in the city!) and fell in love with the hip Liberty Village neighbourhood!
Even though I wasn’t in town, I was still channelling the fest vibe and wanted to share that look with you! When you think of music festivals, all styles emerge! From boho, to grunge, to rock, to goth, to sporty… A beautiful sea of denim, lace, florals, sequins and leather awaits you! My favourite part is how people feel more comfortable to be creative and unique with their styles! Super refreshing to see :) What I believe is a must and the ultimate item to have when attending a music festival is the short! Feeling playful and rebellious, I decided on shorter than short shorts! Yes I did! I dared! I really like the distressed cutoffs and rolled hem and how the acid wash denim evokes the 80s! The high-waist and button fly are so Levi’s 501! Don’t you think? Yes… I am guilty of wearing them as a teenager... You had to have the Original 501’s! And I couldn’t pass the chance to relive the moment ;) A crop or lace top and a floppy hat would have been clear choices to wear it with. But, I was feeling more boho-chic than hipster. So, a long white shirt and peep toe lace up boots felt best. The shirt is simple and easy-going but the “À toute à l’heure” addition makes it more fun to wear! I also found the boots' mix of suede and leather as well as the lace ups to bring some edge to the outfit! Added a few bold accessories like this grey leather and crystal bracelet and the massive silver ring. Sharp! Right? And the Pop Art kiss clutch seemed ideal for a hint of color and even more fun in the sun :)
Which festival do you like to attend? And how do you style your outfit?
